Konami UFO & Monstersinmotion

Ken Parker <shadokp@attbi.com>
I DID finally get my e-mail - can't wait!!!

I was very impressed with those 2001 Space Suits at that
Monstersinmotion web site mentioned earlier. One of these in the
form of a UFO alien or even UFO astronaut would be really nice!!

Hi Ken - Monsters in Motion DID have Moonbase kits too but when I tried to
order one via their site I got a message they were all out of them! WAH! The
alien model I got from them is really nice and of heavy quality
construction. It's dense as though solid inside. Pam

You can still buy a Moonbase kit from Hobby Link Japan:

The Moonbase kit is also available from Comet Miniatures
www.comet-miniatures.co.uk 'though HLJ despite the post costs will I
suspect reprsent better value. I believe MIM are just awaiting new
stocks this is why they are perhaps not taking orders at the moment.

The kit was originally produced by Imai, they went belly up late last
year and the moulds transferred to Aoshmi who have recently restarted
production, maybe MIM are awaiting new stocks.

Thy even have a plastic kit of Ellen Ripley, which is damn
authentic. For once, the facial features of the original have been
captured *siiiiiiiiiigh*

Starship Modeller is reporting the Konami UFO figures are landing

lunadude2001 <russell_smith@ntlworld.com>
The Starship Modeller site is reporting the figures have started to
land. Early reports suggest they are of a high quality and the image
on the HLJ does not do the them justice. As a modeller I reserve
judgement unti I see them, but it sounds promising.

Konami figures arrived!

Marc Martin
Administrator
Hi all,

My 2 boxes of Konami UFO figures arrived this morning,
although I didn't have much time to look at them,
because I had to go to work. They looked cute, and
I verified that my first box of 10 did NOT have Lt.
Ellis in it. Maybe box #2 will... <fingers crossed>

Also, some of the pieces require a little putting
together (e.g. attaching the Sky One to the rest
of Skydiver, attaching the Interceptor legs, etc.)
