Hi all,

Apparently, Lt. Anderson from Reflections in the Water (James Cosmo) has
the role of "Glaucus" in the new movie "Troy". So lookout for him!

Hi All,

James Cosmo (Lt. Anderson) also played a major part in Mel Gibson's
"Braveheart". He looks a trifle different nowadays. He also fairly regularly
plays 'toughie' roles on British TV.

Best, Griff

I guess one other difference is that he normally plays his roles (TV and film)
in his own strong but natural Scottish accent as opposed to the rather plummy
English accent in UFO. G

If I remember rightly, he was a regular in 'Warship' in the '70s, and he
played a Glaswegian police officer in one episode of 'The Sweeney' too.
I didn't know he was in Braveheart.

I remember 'The Sweeney' ep - not 'Warship', tho I'm sure you're
right (pity it's not out on DVD)...

Yes, and also in 'Trainspotting'; and as the crime lord Cafferty
in 'Rebus', the TV series starring John Hannah and based on Ian
Rankin's novels about Edinburgh police detective John Rebus. As an
actor, he certainly gets around !
