Thanks for the encouragement both.As I said I will post again when the full instructions are completed.I,d be only to happy to e-mail the details to anyone.
Its worth bearing in mind I,m not a model maker. This is the only model I,ve attempted to make, due simply to my fascination for it as child. That fascination has never dimmed.
I,m just quite astonished that all other models from the series have been represented accurately except this one.
I can understand perhaps why commercial garage outfits
have not acheived this because the finish does,nt lend itself
to mass production. However what confuses me is that when Martin Bowers,a VERY skilled professional model maker who has connections to other model makers who worked on UFO and who himself worked in the Movie business on films like Alien produces a version that is totally and completely wrong,I am more than convinced that
this model does not reveal the secret of its construction very
easily.Clearly not everyone is as interested in this subject as me,so I apologise for my apparent self indulgence.
I won,t go into the construction of it here, but if you do want more details prior to the completion of the full, taylor made
and exacting instructions (in any size) please e-mail me
off the forum ,and I,d be only to glad to oblige.
Thanks again Mark UK
