'Cause it's been 30 years since I've seen the episode! And yes, I did like
"Psychobombs." You can poke holes in the plot of any tv show if you care
to. I just thought this one was cooler than most. I seem to remember a
speech by that creepy guy who played the doctor. Something about how all
the forces of the universe were related. Hmm. The doctor has an interest
in Grand Unified Theory.
As for a working moonbase in 1980, as I recall the goal of the US space
program after the moon landing was a man on Mars by 1980. But after they
beat the commies to the moon the space program lost its priority with the
public.
And I forgot about Gay Ellis's legs in "Close-Up." Didn't she also do the
strip-tease in the first episode?
