More new photos!

Hi all,

I've just added 6 new UFO photos to my website:

The 3 behind-the-scenes photos are all from Phil Rae.
The other 3 photos are from prints I have.

When doing dust removal on these, I noticed that
in the Skydiver crew shot, Lt. Masters is steering
the vehicle while holding a cigarette (!)

Thanks, Marc, for making these widely availble.

It says something about how things have moved on when we see Derek
Meddings and Ken Holt wearing ties while working on models. About as
overly-formal 1960's Britain as you you get.

It's been said that if you want to know what a man's about, look at
his socks not his tie. A tie is where he wants to be but his socks
tell the truth about who he is. In this case I'd say the ties say
where these guys really are and the sets say where they want to be.
i.e thumbing their noses at the rules.

Well, I'm not sure we can tell too much from these photos. They look
staged to me, so perhaps they had some advanced warning and dressed
differently. It is not some random photo taken -- I actually have
about 5 different shots of Derek and Ken together, and all of them
look like they were taken around the same time.

Also, from other behind-the-scenes photos, it was obvious that it was
other people working directly with the models, not Derek Meddings.
And they weren't wearing ties... :-)

Also, I don't think that combination of models ever appeared in UFO...
that looks like the farmhouse and rocket from THE LONG SLEEP, but I
don't recall any SHADO mobiles being around in that scene.

This was after she was beat up in MINDBENDER. Perhaps I should
modify the description...

I believe that was from "Mindbender" after she was attacked. it was supposed to a scrape or cut.
