NEW PROJECT!! : UFO Technical Guide - help needed

Hi all

I'm a graphic designer (amongst other things..) with a passion for
Anderson Sci-Fi. I am particularly attached to UFO & Space 1999 due to
the cool design elements featured in these shows.

I am embarking on a project to produce a UFO Technical Guide and I need
your help.

The guide would be developed over time and released as each page is
produced in digital format (hi res PDF) for free and also printed
digitally at a small cost. The guide would be divided into sections and
could potentially grow into a significant publication.

Have a look in the Files section in this group - inside the folder named
"UFO Techical Guide" I have uploaded a rough (and I mean rough, the PDF
conversion affected some of my layout) page mockup -the directions sign
inside SHADO control (under the studio)

I am looking for as much reference material as I can for UFO. I have the
DVD's of course and a Japanese UFO album but these on their own are not
sufficent (I have also ordered the new hardback "Complete Guide to UFO,
by Chris Bentley" - this should be helpful too)

Recently I posted a requested for Angelo's Art of UFO but this is now no
longer available (drat...) - I has intended to use his excellent work as
a basis for this project (not copy his work though) - Any help in this
area would be fantastic!!!

Anyway -please assist if you can I will be grateful and acknowledge your
contributions in the publication.

The letters "S", "H", "A", "D", "O" in the black squares of the your pdf are a bit small respect to the proportions of the letter of the words on the original panel.

On the right side of the original panel the "C" is LOUNGE and not PHYSCHO-ANALYTIC DEPT, and "D" is PSHYCHO ANALYTIC DEPT. and not LOUNGE.

You write "PHYSCO" and not "PSYCHO".

You write "DEPT" and not "DEPT."

I did say it was rough.... :-)

It is intended only as a mock-up and I did not take much care over
accuracy with it. Rest assured that the finished articles will be as
accurate as I can possibly make them though.

I threw it together in about 30 minutes!
