The NEW interceptor is from the Japaneese MANGA UFO 1988. Thanks for the reply.

I have a fair bit of spare capacity on my own webserver, and was
thinking of starting a UFO-related site myself. However, I don't
have any original material, and I can't really think of anything I
could offer over and above what Marc's site already makes
available .. apart from my own opinions of course :D

Do you think a UFO forum would work, or maybe a general GA forum?
Or is there already such a beast out there somewhere?

James

There are a couple of other Gerry Anderson forums available
(for example, FAB GEAR has one - I forget the other one).

If there is some aspect of UFO that you don't think my site
is devoting enough attention to, you could focus on that,
and I could reduce the amount of stuff on my site. For
example, my site used to contain UFO fiction, but then
Deborah created the SHADO Library, and I then took all
the fiction off my site and simply linked her site.

There are aspects of UFO that I'm not that interested
in, and I'm sure others could do a better job -- modelling
and merchandise immediately come to mind (even someone
who merely collected photos of UFO merchandise from
eBay auctions would have a better merchandise site than
mine)

Thanks for the response. I did a lot of work upfront to open the site with
a lot of visuals. Who knows...someone ...somewhere ...might see it and
go...wow...we never thought of that..maybe we should do a UFO Series 2005 update.
It might be a hit.

I am looking for material and ideas - please send them.

Thanks. Harada357

Of course, anyone who wants to start a UFO merchandise
website should make an attempt to find Angelo Finamore,
who had quite a large UFO merchandise site several years
ago. As far as I know, this site no longer exists,
which is a real shame, as it was quite impressive.

Oh wait... it seems to be back now:

Good! I wonder when that happened... (?)

Yes .. I found it and had a look, thanks Marc. The UFO section is pretty
low traffic, so it seems there isn't a great deal of interest in discussing
UFO in that format. I'll do something else, I think :)

For those who asked what MANGA - UFO 1988 was...well you have been missing
something. First - Marc has a TON of material on his web site about
everything UFO - somehow you missed his LINK section. The UFO 1988 web site is linked
there. There are a TON of GREAT UFO links there - please take a look again
to see what else you missed!

The direct LINK to the MANGA - UFO 1988 comic site is:

Maybe I'll start an "I'm An American, And This Is Where I Live" forum, that
might be quite popular

Yes, indeed.

A note to list members -- while I'm sure it's fun to announce where you
live, and while I'm sure this wouldn't be too much trouble if there was
only a handful of people subscribed to this list, you must remember that
there are almost 1000 people subscribed to this list, and I really don't
want everyone here to announce where they live -- it's off-topic. If
someone wants to start a database of where everyone lives and post it
in the "Files" area, that's fine, but collect the data via private
email, and leave the forum for discussions about UFO.

Marc
