I am a Japanese UFO fan.
I hope I can contribute to this group.

There may be much interest about Konami's candy kits.
In Japan, shops are starting to sell them.

I recommend "box-buying" (1 box = 10 packs) because of the contents
of the box.In one box, with respect to the UFO Series, there are:

2 skydivers, 2 interceptors, 2 sky-1s, 1 ufo, 1 lunar carrier-module
pair, 1 or 2 shado mobile(s), and 1 or 0 Lt. Ellis figure, the "rare
item" of this series.

Lt. Ellis figure will be contained at 1/4th probability, i.e. only 1
kit in 1 case ( = 4 boxes). So you can definitely get Lt. Ellis if
you order 1 case ( =4 box).

This distribution structure is exact the same with the previous TB
series 1 and 2.

Konami announced they sell Cpt. Scarlet series in this December -
SPV,SSC,MSV,Angel Interceptor,Spectrum Helicopter,Passenger Jet,
and "rare" Destiny Angel figure.

Also Konami is pareparing the last of the series - "Other ITC
Vehicles" series in the next Feb. - supercar, stingray, terror fish,
mac's jet car , u59 track, eagle1,hawk from space:1999.

how much are the boxes? Is there a place where you can still order/get them.

The boxes were about fifteen quid each [plus post] from HLJ. As some
one previously stated, HLJ are reporting they have [essentially] sold
out on pre order with little chance of restocking. I see Coment
Miniatures are advertising each model/figure at £12 - £15 each! and
they don't appear to have the Gay Ellis figure either.

I'd like to get my hands on Destiny. Typical to make it a rare item.
