Hi All,
I just received the July issue of the SHADO-USECC UFO fan club newsletter, and I was quite surprised to see the following ad in the classifieds section (mistakes left intact): SHADO'S BULLETIN ----------------------------------------------------- You like the serie UFO? And are interested in reading and talking about it? Meeting other fans and share with them your 'ideas'? [YES!] Then why not help to get this proposed magazine in print (and keep it in print!) ----------------------------------------------------- This magazine will have (hopefully) fiction stories, artwork, competitions, news, letters of comments, articles about the series, actors, characters, book & episode reviews, new & old newspaper clippings... just anything which may be interesting for you as an UFO fan! If it's about UFO - It's welcome! [Got Interested? Want to know more?] Good - sent your name & address (plus IRC if possible) to the editorial address and I promise you will receive a 'sample' of what you could be getting when you help to keep SHADO in action !!! SHADO'S BULLETIN C/O Caluwaert Anne Marie Hallaarstraat 60 B-2222 Itegem Belgium I must admit I'm a bit surprised by this... the description of this magazine doesn't differentiate itself much from what SHADO-USECC already is, and is there really enough interest in UFO for two UFO fan club newsletters plus everything that's taking place on the Internet? -- Marc Martin, [hidden email] |
I got mine too Marc, my thoughts exactly. Hopefully Helen's not thinking of
shutting down the current club. Shall I call the young lady and ask questions? If so, what do I ask? (apart from 'just what UFO-related stuff do you have?') Any suggestions? Strange how there was no email address mentioned - or was there? CU Lieve |
