Got a model interceptor a few weeks back for 2.50.
Why were they nearly always in green?

You know what - that was the question I posed in my first
post to the list as well, in May 1998.
The consensus was that it was so it would appeal to kids,
which is probably true in general, but I'm sure a lot of
kids wanted a proper UFO Interceptor in white. I know I
did.
