I've just discovered you when browsing the web. I have been a life-
long fan of UFO since it was first shown in the early 70's and I'm not ashamed to admit I'm now in my 40's. Being a female of course I was smitten by Michael Billington and it was wonderful to meet him at the recent Eclectic convention. I was only there for a day but I can fill in on some of the bits that I see other members have posted notes on. I also took some photos of Ed and Mike which I'm happy to share albeit that they are not masterpieces. Look forward to further messages with you all. |
Nice to have you in the group. I like you first saw UFO in the early 70 and
am in my 40(it beats the only other option). Welcome. James K. |

Those of us who didn't attend would love to know as much as possible about what happened with regards to UFO! >I also took some photos of Ed and Mike which I'm happy to share >albeit that they are not masterpieces. Sure, we'd love to see the photos. You can put them in the SHADO file at yahoogroups and a message is added automatically that you have put them there:-) I also saw UFO for the first time in the early '70s. 1972 will always be a special year for me in many ways. And it was the heroic, good- looking and somewhat boyish Colonel Foster that led me astray every Saturday night;-) Having said that, some of the other characters had their way with me, too;-) I didn't make it to the Eclectic Con as I live way up in the Highlands of Scotland and I would have to have something in the way of a lottery win to allow me to go to one of these things. Anyway, glad you are here. We've had a lot of new people join recently and it's.....great! -- Suzanne Sutherland aka drdougjackson |
