No Intro

Railhead
Just finished up watching the A&E Set 1 for the second time. Noticed
something interesting...
"Confetti Check A-OK" has no opening sequence with the theme music playing
over a montage of scenes from the series.
Instead after the production company sequence, it goes straight into the
show, beginning with a shot of Harrington-Straker studios.
Is this particular to the A&E set, or did the original show air without the
opening sequence?

Another question...besides "Court Martial", this is the only episode that
is on Set 1 that does not feature atleast one UFO, as best as I can
recall. All the other episodes have some mixture of Shado equipment (Sky
One, Interceptors, SID, etc...) and the UFO's and sometimes Aliens
themselves. Are there any episodes that will be on Set 2 that do not
feature the aliens or vehicles?

That's the way the episode originally aired. PSYCHOBOMBS also
doesn't have an opening sequence. Presumably, it was decided
that it would be better to omit the opening sequence than cut
another minute out of the episode.

I don't think there are any remaining episodes that don't
have a UFO in them... (?)

It's not particular to A&E: the original show did without. Another one is PSYCHOBOMBS.

Concerning the UFOs and other vehicles: nope.
It's rather interesting that the Aliens were seen in only 9 (of 26) episodes (Identified, Computer Affair, Survival, A Question of Priorities, Ordeal, The Square Triangle, The Sound of Silence, Mindbender, The Long Sleep), in one of them (Mindbender) they are only a hallucination.

Of course they ARE in other episodes too: in E.S.P. they speak through Croxley; in Kill Straker! we can hear them giving their orders (see the title); in three episodes they take over the brains of some humans and a cat (The Cat with Ten Lives, Psychobombs, Timelash) and in Reflections in the Water they look like SHADO members. But seen as Aliens they were only in 9 eps.
