I know you asked to not clutter the list, but there are probably others out
there wondering the same thing.
DVDs are formatted in one particular format (NTSC, PAL, etc) - just like VCR
tapes. Your DVD player not only has to be Region free, but be able to convert
PAL to NTSC, etc. or your TV would need to do similar.
You can always view the DVD on your PC.
