I rented the Thunderbirds movie on DVD, and my player had some problems
playing the movie. The movie stopped playing at the beginning of where you see Thunderbird 2 hovering over a hospital. I think it is at a chapter stop. Also the bonus feature won't play either. Anyone else have any issues? Bruce |

Bruce, maybe your DVD player has taste. Just kidding. This is going to sound dumb but it works for me. Take your DVD and check the back real carefully. There may be a scratch, if not take the following advice. Get a clean shirt and rub both sides of the DVD. Yes the shirt has to be clean. Sometimes bubbles form in the DVD if your house is subject to drafts or changes in temperature. See if this works if not return the DVD with your receipt and get another copy.

I got the DVD and there's a fault on it - I can see, and hear, the movie!
Sorry, couldn't resist. By the way, anyone know where I can get some of the amnesia drug to use after seeing the movie? Heavens, but this is a TERRible movie. The main problem:
TB is unknown in the USA. So you change it around and make it live action for the USA audience. It comes off being Spy Kids, highlighting three kids saving the world, much like Wesley on ST, and no one liked that character, either. In doing so, you change the premise so radically, the European audience hates it. If they had stuck to the original design of the show and had GA involved, it woulda been much better. great looking ships and set design, tho..really oustanding. --- In [hidden email], "Bruce Sherman" <brucesherman@s...> wrote: > sorry, but I found it enjoyable to watch > > Bruce > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "MICK DICKENS" <docmed03@y...> > To: <[hidden email]> > Sent: Thursday, May 12, 2005 7:10 AM > Subject: Re: [SHADO] OT: Thunderbirds movie problem > > > > I got the DVD and there's a fault on it - I can see, and hear, > > > > Sorry, couldn't resist. Ive watched all the thunderbirds episodes from GA. Yes, this does seem to
have a little Spy kids about it, but whether one enjoys or hates a movie is a opinion, my opinion is I enjoyed it :) Bruce ----- Original Message ----- From: "brinkeguthrie" <[hidden email]> To: <[hidden email]> Sent: Thursday, May 12, 2005 10:08 PM Subject: [SHADO] Re: OT: Thunderbirds movie problem > Heavens, but this is a TERRible movie.
