different editions of the same model GS v GT sort of thing. Hi Rick,
No, Paul Foster's car - as well as Ed Straker's - was one of three cars custom made for the film "Journey to the far side of the Sun" (AKA Doppelganger). They were externally modified (their look changed somewhat) when used in UFO. There is more info about all this on Marc Martin's fantastic UFO site: www.ufoseries.com For specifics on Foster's car, please see this page: http://www.ufoseries.com/models/index.html ...scroll down to the entry: Foster's Car 1998 Hope this helps, Griff --- In [hidden email], "rja2112" <rja2112@...> wrote: > > HI,watching my UFO DVD'S i noticed Paul Foster's lavender car,i'm wondering, from the back,is it a Ford Montego? My friend has one and i noticed it...thanks...Rick > |

Even watching the kid in the mid 1980's, I've never thought lavender was Paul Foster's kind of colour for a car(!)

Paul Foster's Car is still in existence, (I came across an article on
someone restoring it. but can't recall the URL), but Straker's car was apparently destroyed. Straker's car has been known to be located in Birmingham UK, rotting away in someone's back yard. Here is a photo of it taken 9 years ago: http://ufoseries.com/jeffSmartVideo/mystery6.jpg Marc |

Please correct me if I am wrong; Paul's car was made in the UK right?
there has to be blue prints and diagrams registered somewhere. Say is there a some place that files patents? That might help. Dee **************Recession-proof vacation ideas. Might be a market for fibreglass bodied replicas mounted on a suitable Ford
chassis, with either small petrol engine or an electric motor option. What about the third car? What happened to it? Still, nice to think that there might be copies somewhere, if the company that carried out the work still exists. Or even if it doesn't. James |

> Yet And We Have Ford Escort Chassis. The Original Chassis Would Be >RustedThrough Vic, Was it built on an Escort? I thought those cars were built on the Ford Zephyr/Zodiac IV chassis and had the 4 cylinder Zephyr engine and gearbox. Good luck. If you can get one of those for 1000 pounds, even in poor condition, I'd say you got a HUGE bargain. David |
Hello all! Has anyone else got the chance to sample New Fanderson's STINGRAY soundtrack double CD? I have received my copy yesterday and am quite pleased with it. Sound quality is better then I expected and of all other Barry Gray soundtracks, this feels closest to UFO (although CAPTAIN SCARLET and JOE 90 areprety close, too). I have heard that CD is selling fast, so anyone wantingit should perhaps hurry with the order...
