Apart from DESTRUCTION Madoc played Marys new husband Rutland in A QUESTION OF PRIORITIES. BTW, great what you all know! Have to watch some episodes again, I think :-) CU Christian ======================================================= "Do not run from me Nadine, I'm going to dispatch you." Nothing remotely attractive about that character---yuk! I guess I'll have to watch the episode again to be sure for myself. Man, I hate when that happens. There are a few actors who are such chameleons that you don't recognize them when they play something different, like a bad guy. For example, Michael Biehn in "Terminator" and in "The Abyss." Or Paul Reiser from "Mad About You" in "Aliens." Or the truly wild one: Patrick Stewart of TNG in "Conspiracy Theory." How do they DO that? And the really big question is: Will I be able to drool over that captain ever again now that I know he's Rutland? *sigh* Denise _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp

For even more evidence of Mr Madoc's versatility check out "Doppelganger" where he plays the nerdy Dr Pontini, vs. Space:1999 (Breakaway) where he plays a brief part as Cmdr. Koenig's predecessor, the gruff Cmdr. Gorski. I never in a million years would have recognized that they were the same person. Here is a publicity shot from this years "Cult TV" festival last month in Liverpool. http://www.cult-tv.freeserve.co.uk/images/philipmadoc.jpg Did anyone here attend? |
