Wow good pics.
One thing I notice was how much Mike had changed over the years.
Both he and Ed will be missed a great deal.

Well, one (I think) is Gito's wife Connie.
The boy is Mike Billington's son, Mike Jr.
The rest are members of ISOSHADO -- Paolo Malaguti,
Marco Raffa, Teresa (?), Paolo Brandimarte...

...of course, I probably should leave the identifying
to someone who was there! :-)

of Mike Billington, why not Ed Bishop, too? (or, maybe
I have posted these, but have forgotten)

Thanks for the photos. Glad to see I wasn't imaging all those
convention pictures I've seen before with Ed clutching a cigar in one
hand and a drink in the other. In his comments in the TV tribute to
Gerry Anderson, he is also clearly holding a drink.

Interesting to see how the convention dress code has chilled a bit
since 1982!

There is the 'Mike Billington Fans' website, at www.mikebillingtonfans.com
It has both articles on Mike's work and an extensive photo library, both of stills from his TV and film appearances, photos from conventions, and scans of print articles.
The 'team' who produce the site will certainly be keeping it up, and adding to it, both for existing fans, and those who have yet to see his work; I gather the recent DVD release of UFO, for example, created a 'new generation' of Billington and Bishop fans :D
