Portrait of a Lady

Hi all,

I rented the 1968 BBC drama "Portrait of a Lady". The opening scenes
play like a lost scene from CONFETTI CHECK A-OK:

(the above requires Quicktime 6 to view)

Hmmmm, perhaps we could could construct our own UFO episode using
scenes from other TV shows & movies which features the UFO cast?

Hmmmm, maybe not...

Yeah, this movie seems more like UFO than even "Journey to the
Far Side of the Sun"! For example, here's a nice "Question
of Priorities" moment:

Marc,

thanks a lot for providing us with this scene!
Well, I should give the DVD on my wishlist :-)

Ed doesn't have a very large part in this, although
he is in about 4 scenes and has a lot of dialog in
every one of them. Suzanne Neve plays the main
character, though. Being one of the few people
who seems to LIKE Suzanne Neve, I found this to
be a GOOD thing.

BTW, here's another CONFETTI-like argument
between the two:

(that's the last clip I have -- I returned the
rental movie and accidentally deleted from my
hard drive a great Ed scene near the end)

And Amelia, perhaps they are not the grandparents
of the Straker's -- perhaps they are the Straker's
in a past life? :-)
