Potential Straker for new UFO series?

Jonathan Andrew Sheen-5
Hi, All,

I was watching the DVD collection of a defunct "Sci Fi
Channel" TV series -- "The Dresden Files" -- and discovered
that an actor playing the regular part of an English Ghost
named "Bob" -- actually Hrothbert of Bainbridge -- was
actually an American, born in Kentucky. White-blond hair,
piercing blue eyes, and can play a wide range from drama to
comedy.

So... Terrance Mann as Straker, anybody?

Terrance Mann seems a bit old for Straker (58):

If it's a "reboot" of the series, then yeah, he's too old. If,
however, they're advancing the series (setting it some 20-30 years
after the original series, with a founding at during the same time
period), he's the perfect age.

I also don't think he looks his age. I'd have thought he was
in his mid-forties in "Dresden Files," and that was a
relatively short time ago.

C'mon you guys, Tom Cruise with tinted hair would be a natural for the
part. After all, he has alien experience already.
