It never ceases to amaze me how you have become the center of the
Gerry Anderson universe, Marc! Given that you have now heard from
A&E, Dinky, and even Ed Bishop himself, are there any remaining aspects
of UFO for which you lack a contact?

I am curious as to the date when Gordon Archer was actually commissioned
for the artwork. Was it before, during, or after UFO's release? As an
aside,
my own Dinkys came in plastic bubble packaging, and I have no recollection
of any artwork in the packaging. Are there any scans of Mr. Archer's work?

So you have hard from Dinky, Marc?

My toys were boxed and yes, the boxes did have the artwork on
their side. Also, around the same time as the toys were released,
a series of ads for the interceptor was run in Countdwon comic in
England. I wonder if the same chap did the artwork for these too?

Well, let's not overstate things -- I think the folks at Fanderson have
contacted far more people with ties to UFO than I have. And I wasn't
contacted by Dinky, but the son of the artist for the UFO toys.

I suspect that this might be some of his work:

I didn't get the impression that there were any details about when
the work was done. Although if we knew the release date of the Dinky
toys, I suspect the artwork was done about 3 months before...
