I will probably be kicked out of both SHADO and EBF for my ignorance here, but which episode was that? Never heard that mentioned before.

Ed and several other member of the cast played their own alien doubles in
Reflections Under the Water remember Jess?

Yes, but were they playing "Aliens", or were they robots created by Aliens?

RE: Aliens or Robots?

Griff!
Yes, I agree. I always thought the doppelgangers in RITW were robots, by the
way they moved, reacted and also the abrupt way they were despatched by
Straker and Foster.

The 'conventional' aliens shown in the series seemed to have much more
'human' attributes and reactions compared to their robotic counterparts.

Best to all, and here's to a 2004 filled with health, wealth and
happiness...

Straker chokes one into unconsciousness with one hand as you might recall so
it has to be living breathing not a robot or android. So its either a alien
or a human who is working with the aliens so I expect the doubles are humanoid
also.

Really? I thought in the fight scenes their movements were still
unnatural, like their arms were unusually straight while taking swings at
Foster & Straker. I guess I'd have to watch that again to verify, but it I
seem to recall that their behavior was somewhat "robotic"...

Straker mentions some kind of plastic surgery in RITW so he thought they
were living and he got to touch them.
Also Anthony Chin played an alien in "The square Triangle" It is a credited
roll. He also played Lt. Chin in Subsmash
