Mike Billington was at the SECC. I do have photos but unfortunately my PC died a few days ago, and so far I haven't had time to load the drivers for my camera onto the laptop. He was extremely nice when I was there, however, and spoke to my father and I for a long while. He actually seemed genuinely interested to hear what sort of things UFO fans were up to, and the fact that a 25 year old, who wasn't born when the show was first aired, could be a fan :) (Oh, and I gave your site and group a good plug, Marc ;) ). He was an absolute gentleman though, and even my dad, who is an old cynic and not into all this 'cult' stuff as he calls it, said as much. Actually the conversation with him kind of made the event for us, as the actual stalls were a bit disappointing, merchandising-wise. Typical, since it was the first year I have actually had money to spend.

I was at the SECC Memorabilia event as well. Have to agree that
Mike's a nice guy to talk to. I've put a few photos from the event
in the Conventions round-up page, and Conventions folder of the
photo album, at www.mikebillingtonfans.com

Andy, actually Mike mentioned he was meeting you later on and was going on about what a nice bloke you are (just thought I'd mention). He also mentioned that website (I've only seen the other one, the .org one). Like I said, I was really impressed by how much he knew about the UFO fans and what was available.
