Yes, as you would have noticed by now, there are a
few of us connected:

I'm another guy, (38 yo) down here in Adelaide.

You shouldn't have many problems completing
your collection. Plus the DVDs will be released
soon in the UK, which, if you have an all-region
player, you'll be able to import from Amazon
or Blackstar depending upon your preference.

For those Aussies (and other collectors) wondering:
there has been no more news of a potential
Region 4 DVD Australian release of "UFO" by
Village Roadshow, as was hinted in mid-2001.
That's not to say it won't happen; just **very**
unlikely at present, (there was talk of "Captain Scarlet"
getting a Region 4 release but it never happened
for economic factors similar to the likelihhood of there
not being a "UFO" release)' apart from "Thunderbirds"
(repeated ad infinitum) the properties just aren't that
well-remembered enough in this country to justify a
mass-market release, (despite their presence on
Foxtel cable TV).

I'm another 38 year old aussie (living in Melbourne) who has been kinda
lurking in the shadows (or the SHADOs) for a while.
My interests are mainly in the models used in the production, I had both the
Dinky Interceptor and Mobile as a kid and regret their loss to this day. I'm
STILL working on my resin SkyDiver by the way!
I don't have a DVD player yet and can't get Radio 2 down here in Melbourne,
so I can't really contribute to the current threads... :)
