I was under the impression that the Carlton DVDs were region free.
They work fine on my region 4 Australian player.

I find the statements of JF OK. Why should he bother with an episode
he can't stand, only for completist reasons? So it must be Heaven for
him to have all the episodes except the one he don't want at all. He
is rather a connoisseur then a collector :-) Therefore I agree with
his point of view.

(who *can* stand CCA-OK, although it's not one of his favourites)

There's the issue of PAL -- we don't do PAL.

Yes, they are region free...but they are in PAL
format. They won't play on a NCTS-only DVD player.
That was my bad; my Daewoo can switch between PAL and
NCTS on the fly.

Man they do make it hard for you guys...
The DVD players down under play NTSC and PAL.
There's a lot of Region 4 DVDs that are actually NTSC format.

But I guess that all your region 1 DVDs would be NTSC.
Although it does seem odd that in this day and age they wouldn't handle
a region free PAL DVD.

I don't know. DID YOU? I was commenting on some of the "stranger" FanFic stories that I have read, and what certain people would think of certain "Activities."
By the way, I would have never thought of Straker as the Bathtub type, myself. But then, I guess I don't normally think along those sort of lines anyway.

Well .. some of the more adult-oriented UFO fanfic is very imaginative.. :)

I'd love to know what George Sewell would think about the idea
of Freeman and Straker showering together.
