Heh, heh...

You have to remember that I've seen the *original* UFO models,
plus studio-scale replicas at Fanderson's Century 21 convention.
So in comparison, I can only describe these tiny little models
as "cute". But I have to give them credit for accuracy, which
certainly appears to be better than many larger model kits
which have been released over the years.

Now, Martin Bower's 6 foot Skydiver model -- that would be
AWESOME! :-)

Eh! I am SO Jealous! I opened all 20 little boxes (Carefully not using
the cardboard zipper thingy so I can reseal them and maybe sell them off
later when they've been OP for a long time!)

I am really impressed with these little kits though, like a super duper
Micromachine! Also the glossy boxes they come in is cool and what's with
the shiny sheet that came in the box of ten? Is it a bookmark or a display
device for stores? How do you put it together?

I think I like the Skydivers and the Lunar Modules the best!

At this point, eBay seems to be the place to get them... do a search
on "Konami UFO", and you'll find 20+ auctions going for them right
now!

I didn't get an Ellis figure! Still the rest of them are very cool indeed. I
did get al the others with doubles of the interceptor, the mobile, skydiver
and sky one.

I think Hobby Japan is getting more of my money for the Captain Scarlet set
and the ITC one.

I have just been browsing eBay, looking at the Konami UFO figures. The
going rate for a set of seven figures including Lt Ellis is a $100 +
!! and the indivdual figures seem to have settled down at about $15
each. Although my [3] sets hav'nt turned up yet, it was worthwhile
investment making a pre-order via HLJ. $15 x 30 :-)))))))

Ahh, but perhaps there will be another vendor selling these
online, and of course there's always eBay. I noticed that
these Konami UFO boxes are all labelled "2003.6". Does
that mean they are meant for display until June 2003?

And did anyone else have trouble getting the little
bar to fit the top of the SHADO Mobile? I eventually
just gave up...
