Hi All,

Since we have several new members on [hidden email], I guess it's
time to ask a question that has been asked several times over the
years, and yet NOBODY seems to know the answer. So in case one of
our new subscribers knows the answer, here is the question:

In the UFO episode SURVIVAL, Paul Foster's girlfriend is listening
to a piece of rock music while taking a shower. Does anyone know
ANYTHING about this piece of music? (group name, song title, etc.)

This is a bit out discussion but I take the opportunity to say that
some of the UFO italian movie compilations have John Barry's Music
from 007-James Bond movies...(I think something from THUNDERBALL)..

group which was in the ep 'Ordeal'- you know the hammond organ sound which
was played at the party. This track is still available!! It is track 9 on
the The Best of the Spencer Davis featuring Steve Winwood.

Still UFO Crazy crazy crazy crrraaazzzzy!

Here's an update on the spoof video series "UFO:1999". Part 1 and
the brand new part 2 will be shown at the MainMission:2000 convention
next week in New York. Amazingly, there will also be a part 3, and
all 3 parts will be shown at the Century 21 Convention near
Birmingham England in October.

And I have no information on if/when these videos will be available
for purchase.

Well, the good old British Hawker Harrier (which was around and in
use in the RAF when UFO was made, so I think it's probably unfair
to say that it's one of GA's visions) can do vertical take off &
landing and hover, so I guess one _has_ been made in real life!

In an attempt to learn more about the INVASION:UFO theme, I asked
David Hirsch if he knew anything about it, since he was one of the
people who created INVASION:UFO. Unfortunately, he doesn't know much
about it either:

Sorry, but I don't know where Robert Mandell got that music from. I know
it was from some library, possibly supplied by the editing house
Dolphin, because it showed up in a car commercial about the same time. I
asked Bob for a copy of the tracks, but he never gave them to me.
