Hi, Marc! Do you believe it's almost March already? And the 18th will be
here sooner than you think! We'd better be hearing lots of feedback on
those DVDs then!!!
Yes, I do have some comments to make on TMWCB. I didn't enjoy it. It did
not come across well onscreen, although the original story may have been
intriguing. It just felt wrong with the characters that were involved.
Straker and the boorish Collins longterm chums? Ginny and Paul? Come on!
When were they going to stop treating her like SHADO's slut? We have
Freeman coming on to her in the pilot, Paul AND Collins with her in this
episode, and in the final few episodes they seem to be throwing her at
Straker. What's up with that? I have too much respect for her character
than to appreciate what this episode made her seem. And that bit with
Jackson near the end that never gets explained: was Collins as bad at
killing him off as he was with Grey? Or are we to assume that he did kill
our beloved doctor off? Faaaarrr too ambiguous! Anyway, not my favorite
episode by a long shot. Thanks for asking! *grin*
Yours,
Denise

Straker, somehow it's always about you.
