Hi all,
The folks making those UFO casino chips do indeed appear to be in the process of correcting the wrong photos for Joan Harrington and Miss Ealand. They have even asked my help to confirm who's who! It sounds like Granada approved these photos, so they don't seem to know enough about their own property... Marc |

Hi Marc,
Sorry late response, went out to dinner... Fettucini Yummy... Grrr... it seems that not only are Sky chopping the episodes up, but they are showing UFO in a really weird/random running order. Next Thursday's episode is: The Cat with Ten Lives! I guess they just go to the tape/DVD shelf, and pick the first one they see... or they use their "annoy the viewers as much as possible" weapon, or worse, they employ the S.P.R.E.N.G! "Sky Program Random Episode Number Generator". What's next? Timelash? followed by Identified again... Best to all ;) Griff > Is there some regular timeslot that its in? The large photo on the Straker, Freeman, and Jackson chips appears to
be reversed (mirror image). They don't look quite right - hair parted on the wrong side, etc. There may be others too ... Actually, IDENTIFIED->EXPOSED->THE CAT WITH TEN LIVES is one of the common viewing orders. This is referred to as the original 1970 ATV Midlands viewing order, and can be found on my UFO FAQ. Not the best viewing order, but it's not random... Marc |

UFO is now owned and licenced by Granada Ventures (part of Granada
International) I believe. Griff --- In [hidden email], "Hemmings, R.K." <rkh@...> wrote: > > Heheh! Before that, it was Carlton that owned it. Before that, it was Polygram. I'm not sure who owned it before Polygram, though... (ITC?) Marc |

Sorry to disapoint everyone. But ITV4 are a seperate company from SKY.
They are not run by SKY (Although SKY have increased their shares in ITV) but by ITV, Britains first Independant Television company. However yes, they are cut and the order definately appears to be screwed. If Sky ran ITV4 then it's a sure thing that no one apart from Sky subscribers would be able to get it. However it is available on Freeview (28) Cable (Some figure) and of course Sky (some other figure) [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |
