To be honest I was referring to comments from the dim and distant
archives, not just the more recent ones to do with ITV 4. There
used to be periodic episode discussions that made for some very
interesting threads– you could do a search for an episode title… :-)

Go ahead and throw them in – I'm interested to know what you think
and I'm sure the same goes for many others :-)

Yes they do! I started commenting on the edits because I was so
surprised to see them; in all previous broadcasts I'd never noticed
any – certainly the DVDs had no scenes I'd not seen before and I'm
assuming they are complete…? If you'd like to point out the
edits, please do! :-D

I've not seen this one for a very long time. I'm finding it hard to
think about, because it seems so retrograde for the order in which
the series has been broadcast. Memories of it feel rather
upsetting; it'll be interesting to find out if still has the power
to disturb me…… ;-)

Absolutely! In a discussion group about a 35-yr old TV series, we're
not overly concerned with topicality :D

To be honest Kevin, we've talked about some topics at least a dozen
times already; it's par for the course. I for one never get tired of
debating whether the Interceptor silos are pressurised in particular.

Just out of curiosity, to any of those people who have the series on the old
Jap laserdiscs - were those complete episodes, or were *they* edited too?

The Japanese laserdiscs were uncut, as are most of the current DVD editions
(I think some of the episodes on the French DVDs are cut, though)
