Hi All
 
 i cannot understand why only the women on moonbase had purple hair?
 
Because when they did space 1999 no one had purple hair , so it was'nt a moon contamination.
 
Why was Aysha Brough the only one allowed to wear jewellery in uniform?
 
 
Why did Peter Gordino leave?
 
 
Hope someone can answer this crop of questions for me

If I remember correctly, the story is that Peter Gordeno's agent didn't want him to be typecast by the role, so recommended that Peter only do a few episodes.

Apparently they were part of the uniform.

I don't recall that the story of Peter Gordeno's leaving had anything to dowith the production break, when they switched studios.  The story as I recall it was that Peter's agent suggested he only do a few episodes to avoid being typecast.  If I recall correctly, Peter was gone after 6 episodes, far before the production break occurred.  My understanding isthat Sewell and Drake left during the break, though.
