Re: SF+F subscriptions

Phil Merkel
I just called up my comic book shop here on Long Island, Fourth World Comics
in Smithtown NY (Named after Jack Kirby's Fourth World) and they get 5
issues of the SF&F magazine in. 52 is the latest issue in stock and 53 has
NOT arrived yet.

Since they only get 5 copies (Which may include the copy I reserve) I told
them to put aside all the other copies they get for me.

So Rob, if you want a copy you can have one of these after you make the
appropriate shouts of joy and write a few operas to sing the praises of
captphil.

I think Marc, you may have wanted a copy too but if you don't who ever else
wants one just has to ask until I run out of copies. If Rob and Marc both
want copies I should have 2 or 3 left over to sell for cost and postage or
trade.

I'll let you know when they arrive.

Phil, I can't *possibly* follow that - OR thank you enough (however,
I'll bloody well try!) - who cares about possible internet fraud, when
such issues are at stake!
BTW, Vicar, the IMAI salesman *assured* me that the *whole* universe
would fit into *any* of their boxes, not just this precious SHADO one!..
So, what's the problem? Those IMAI kits *are* cheap, but that doesn't
make 'em any less *precious*! Your models are entirely different -
individual works of art - there's no comparison..
Quadruple blimey!

Regards

WHAT!!!!!!

Really????!!!

Oh, this is terrible news, Oh, I feel terrible. That magazine, while I'm
not even much of a model builder was wonderful for all the Anderson related
items and Babylon 5 stuff.

If you have any more info on the demise of the magazine please email me off
list.

Thanks!

Not really, just heard from the top that it just wasn't working, financially
speaking. So it's a "deader" as they say in Monty Python skits.
