SID could possibly be used as an emergency life raft for an
interceptor pilot? Straker says they have satellites, are there more
SID's but dumb versions with him as the focal point? Perhaps they
look the same and could be used as life rafts as well? The lunar
lander may not be capable of fine orbital manoeuvres in Earth's
gravity well to get to SID. We've only seen it perform this in Moon
orbit with a small load. SID may not be listed as a military
satellite and therefore had to be seen to be repaired with civilian
means eg NASA.
