Re: Sad news just out.

Hi,

Yes, very very sad and upsetting news indeed. Gerry Anderson is my all time hero, and his productions have been the backdrop and soundtrack to much of my life.

I have been dreading news like this for Gerry, Sylvia and all the folks that made Gerry Anderson productions possible.

Alzheimer's is such a very cruel illness, it eventually steals away the person, intellect and very persona of the individual. I hope they find a cure very soon.

Best wishes to all,

Griff

That's so sad. I really feel for his family - having to watch him fade away
and knowing there's nothing to be done.

Very sad. Members of my family have had Alzheimers or Dementia and it's hard not justĀ on them, but the whole family.

That's very sad indeed. At least he still seems fairly lucid at
the moment. My Alzheimer's-suffering mother-in-law is ten years
younger than Gerry and lives in a bizarre world of her own. She
wouldn't even have the self-awareness to understand that she has
Alzheimer's.
