There is an autographed photo of Straker (To Lesley) in the Shado files
entitled "Ed Bishop 02 - d.jpg". It's the photo of Straker talking on the orange phone. I checked with Lesley a while back and she was not sure where the original photo came from. I have looked far and wide since. Does anyone know where I can order a print of this photo ? Regards Chris |

Chris, I think it's a shot from AQOP, since he uses the orange phone in that episode when he calls the hospital. Lisa may be able to find you a picture of it. Can you, Lisa? Have you tried the photo merchants listed in my UFO "Frequently Asked Questions" page? http://ufoseries.com/faq.html#22 And if you do try these pages, I'd be interested in getting feeback to verify/deny that these places still sell UFO photos! Chris,
I've been checking with all the friends I have who give me photos and one of them thinks he got it when he was at a convention in the USA. He doesn't know which one as he lives in Texas and goes to a few conventions every year. He doesn't think it was a UFO/Anderson convention but perhaps a Star Trek convention. I'm sorry I can't help further but I will do my best to come up with an answer for you. I do remember that when Ed signed it he said he really liked the photo and that it was the first time he had been asked to sign it - as far as he could remember. Cheers, Lesleyxx > There is an autographed photo of Straker (To Lesley) in the Shado files > entitled "Ed Bishop 02 - d.jpg". > It's the photo of Straker talking on the orange phone. Thanks everyone for the help tracking down the elusive Straker photo.
S&P Parker appear to have a website I wasn't aware of before. If anyone is interested I have included the link below. Just select "U" for UFO on categories by alphabet. There is even a 24x20" B&W shot of Gabrielle Drake in the buff (no purple wig or silver boots). http://www.moviemarket.co.uk/photos/ Regards Chris |

I know that Jerry Ohlinger's in NY and Still Things in Las Vegas both
sell UFO photos and have wide selections. I have bought from both of them in the last year or so. Well there are some good ones and some not so good ones. I know what you mean, I have seen some multigenerational photos at both places and bought what I wanted regardless in some cases... I hope to find better copies of these photos in the future, but until then at least I have something. For the most part, both places have good high quality stuff, but there are definitely a few stinkers as well. Both had great customer service though. AT |

I bought some UFO photos from STILL THINGS many years ago, and was disappointed in the quality -- it was as if their negatives were several generations from the original, so the picture had lost a lot of the detail. And I've never bought anything from Jerry Ohlingers... Marc |

Success at last !
I sent a copy of the JPEG to Ohlinger's and got this response: > Dear Chris, > Yes,we do have that still. The code # is TV-32666.The cost is $5.50 > plus postage and handling. We would recommend waiting for the list to > see if there's any others you need,as the postage can range from $7 or > $8 to $20 to Australia.(We charge the exact cost of postage to a > credit card...not an estimate.). > Best,JOMMS > > *Jerry Ohlinger's Movie Materials Store, Inc*., 242 West 14th St., NY, > NY 10011..tel: 212-989-0869; fax: 212-989-1660; website: > http://www.moviematerials.com > When replying with a list request, a full subject describing your > question must be included. > Regards Chris [hidden email] wrote: >I know that Jerry Ohlinger's in NY and Still Things in Las Vegas both >sell UFO photos and have wide selections. I think you have from me Marc, didn't you? When I went to Main Mission 2000 in NYC I think Jerry was the vendor I bought photos from and then sent them to you later on. Or was that another dealer, I can't remember. Also I bought a few UFO and Space 1999 photos from Jerry Orlingers at the Philadelphia Worldcon last labor day weekend. I thought they were pretty good but I'm no expert. |

Yes, you certainly did send me some UFO photos, but I don't know who the dealer was... only *you* know that... :-) >Also I bought a few UFO and Space 1999 photos from Jerry Orlingers at the >Philadelphia Worldcon last labor day weekend. (now if i can just find the time to put these all of these photos on my website!) Marc |
