James, saw a reference to a series called The New Professionals. Is this a
update of the original series or just a title that sounds like it?

(thanks)

The Professionals was a British TV series. They worked for C15. A sort of
crack police unit. The fanzine which I was read some 8 years ago was
Australian.

Hi James,

It's an update strictly speaking, made about three years ago I
think, with new characters and actors. Edward Woodward was the
'Cowley' type character. I don't think more than one series was
made .. it really lacked the grit and charm of the original, I
have to say. Wasn't very good (imo) ..
