Talking Lt. Ellis in-stock at Hobby Link Japan

The Product Enterprise talking Lt. Ellis is listed
in-stock at Hobby Link Japan, and they've got some
photos of it, too:

The likeness is much better than the version that
had been shown months ago.

Nice to know they have tried to get the looks correct. Its odd that Hobby
Link in Japan has it when I just saw that everyone else is having to wait. The
company gave a early release to a select number so they could be at the
Fanderson Con over the weekend three weeks before the offical release date this
month.

Speaking of which, does anyone have anything to report from the
Fanderson con? Any photos of the new Lt. Ellis figure? Any UFO
items on display in the exhibition room or dealers room?

Thanks to Paolo for the photos.
The box looks like it is for a DVD rather than a action figure. They have
improved the face. Its a passable representation of Gay Ellis. I do the
license had been gotten by someone like Sideshow Toys who do the Bond figures who do
excellant work. The big problem is the costume. It's the scale. The belt
and the items on it are so large they come up way too high. Lt. Ellis belt
buckle did not come up under her breasts. But I suppose that this is the best
that we can expect.

Someone has pointed out to me that on the back of the
box, it looks like they misspelled Gabrielle Drake's
name (it's hard to make out at that resolution, but
it looks like they spelled it "Gabriel")
