The Yahoo Club! SHADO HQ?

Hi all,

I see that there is a new Yahoo Club called "SHADO HQ":

I'm wondering if this is a duplication of effort from what we've got
here? How is a "Yahoo Club" different than a "Yahoo Group"? And
are the two supposed to be merged into the same thing at some
time in the future?

Rumor has it that a "UFO cover versions" CD is due out pretty soon...

Not original Barry Gray music, but still possibly of interest to UFO
fans... :-)

Also, rumor has it that the "Barry Gray Music of the Week" site is
about to return, although this time someone else will be doing the
weekly updates, as I'd rather use my disk space/time/energy on UFO...

Well, I am a member of a club and it's hard to explain what the
difference is ... It's not a mailing list, for one. You can post
messages to the club and you can opt to have said messages emailed to
you, but you can't just hit reply and reply to the messages - you must
go to the club and reply on the web. You can make image photo albums -
to share images - and there is a chat function and I don't know what all
else. You have to have cookies enabled to do this stuff, so I don't
actually go there often ...
