This triggered an idea for a CSI-UFO crossover. I don't have the writing
talent myself but I think it would make a great fanfic story if someone
could take it up and run with it. How about this: A missing person turns
up as a somewhat chopped up John Doe and CSI London (another new cast) is
called in to investigate, but everybody who should apparently involved has
no memory of any events whatsoever. The CSIs end up uncovering an alien
organ harvest and also SHADO's not quite complete "clean up" of the event
eventually landing themselves in Straker's office. (after which they too
probably would get a nice cup of special SHADO coffee, wink-wink.) It
could end up with a SHADO operative being planted within the CSI
organization to both use CSI to investigate SHADO matters (without their
full knowledge) and to make sure everything really important stays under
wraps. It could become an entire series with the SHADO-CSI operative as
its main character and walking a tightrope between investigating and
covering up.
Wadda ya think? Would it work or have I been staring into my monitors
having my brain X-rayed too long?
