Thanks for the oportunity to see the difference!
I was very curious to see how Thunderbirds HD look like, guessing how it will impact UFO in HD. I can see that the new images are brighter (sometimes even too bright), have more detail, colors are more vivid but sometimes lean towards bluish, and contrast is stronger without much loss to black crush. The loss in the composition is unacceptable for me, though...

Thunderbirds (and even UFO) are not that noticeable to the casual
viewer...
