Hi all,
Okay, our 2 weeks for discussing the UFO episode THE DALOTEK AFFAIR has come & gone, so it's now time to move onto our next episode -- A QUESTION OF PRIORITIES! So anyone who's got the time to watch and/or comment on this episode, please do! -- Marc Martin, [hidden email] |

Would you like an autographed captphil poster to replace your Backstreet Boys or N*SYNC poster on your wall???? It's guaranteed to frighten children and farm animals! Actually I am way behind on my ExE writing, here in SHADO headquarters and over on the Space 1999 list. Switching to cable modem, going to two local SF conventions and the holidays have taken their toll on my on-line activities. I'll try to catch up, I was thinking about what song would go with Dalotek the other night, but haven't decided yet which song is right! My last Magnum Opus was for the Space 1999 episode Catacombs of the Moon to the tune of Barry Manilow's Copacabana! Anyway, I had a great time at ICON 20 (Stony Brook Long Island) Followed Harlan Ellison around for three days, got Brad Douriff's autograph (Young guy in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's nest and of course Brother Edward in Babylon 5) and I got a great big hug from Virginia Hey (Blue girl from Farscape) and the picture to prove it. (Guys, she is really hot! About 6 feet tall or so and she's really not blue in real life! Not that there's anything wrong with being blue!) Also saw Marjorie Monahan (#1 on Mars in B5) Erin Gray and others. Feh! I'm starting to brag! Sorry! Happy Easter everyone. I'm still on Spring Break through Wednesday, I'll try to catch up and write some more song parodies for the list and maybe something coherent about the episodes in question. Oh, PS: I had an idea, I was thinking about going to TORCON in 2003 (The SF Worldcon which will be held in Toronto) Maybe if there are people local or just coming to the convention we could have a Gerry Anderson UFO/Space 1999 sort of get together at the con? Labor Day weekend 2003. If there's an interest I could write to the people running the convention for meeting space? You would have to buy a membership to attend (It will be expensive, around $100 or more for the four days) but if people are around it might be worth doing. Email me off list if you think this idea might work. It would be a fannish gathering, a club meeting, not a separate track of the convention. |

Go and be a great composer once more, will ya? When you've done all the episodes.... (Or even before that ;-) Maybe you could have a 'repository' for all those fine 'oeuvres', non? Maybe chez Deborah... Or chez Marc? What about it? <giggles> --Anny |
