UFO/G Anderson on The BBC (England)

Newman-Smith, Tim
Hello

As an aged and avid Anderson watcher I am pleased at the current run of
Anderson/Century 21 programmes being re broadcast by the BBC. Recently I
have enjoyed watching again Thunderbirds, Stingray and am currently enjoying
the Captain Scarlet re runs. Does anyone out there have any info or ideas
about the likelihood of the BBC repeating all or at least some of UFO?

I do not have any of the vids nor a DVD player or even Satellite TV (what a
Cave Dweller) so I have not seen hide nor hair of Straker & co since 1996!!

Does 'the team' think that further rescreenings of UFO are likely?

Many thanks, y'all!

Sorry 'bout this - my mailer hung up, but when I ^C-ed, it sent
the message I had started to compose.

Anyway - as I was saying .. I'm sure they will be shown again
but unlike the puppet shows which seem to attract large new
audiences of kiddies every five or six years, and inspire large
quantities of merchandise (Tracy Island was the biggest selling
Christmas present last year), it probably won't get a regular
slot or any publicity or promotion. Being shown instead of the
cricket when it's raining is more likely ..
