I think that means holding it up as a sci-fi bondesque 60's fantasy adventure with dark undertones. Yes,perhaps in my dreams. In reality I bet,the leading character won't even have blonde hair. But after having watched him this year on DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, I don't think he really has the right personality for Straker. Marc |

One of the things that I really liked about the show was that it didnt solve all the problems in 60 mintues like many shows did at the time. It showedpeople makeing choosies and the results of those of those chooices, not some hope for result. |

As a fan of Doctor Who - the UFO movie news sounds like all those Doctor Who
movie rumours over the years. I'll believe it when I see it. Neal McDonough would be perfect as Straker. I saw him in a TV series called "Medical Investigation" where he was in charge of a group of doctors and such who went all over the U.S. where there was a strange outbreak of some sort of disease. He was a commanding authority yet kind. I also saw him in TinMan. He was a cool charactor in that show.
And please, people! Commander Straker MUST HAVE BLONDE HAIR!!!!!! Without the blonde hair, it just would not seem right. > > > On Thu, 21 May 2009 11:33:14 -0700 > "Marc Martin" <marc@... <mailto:marc%40ufoseries.com> > wrote: > > > Years ago people used to say that Neal McDonough would make the > > perfect Straker, due to his blonde hair and blue eyes.
