UFO Region 1 DVD's\episode with dead sheep dog

interceptor0000001
Greetings,

I am new to this forum, although I have been a avid follower of UFO
since it was first broadcast in 70(i was 10 at the time.) Anyhow I
am digressing.

I have just received the complete collection "megaset" from the USA
which I ordered last November. Is there anything difference between
the Region 1 version and the region 2 one. I.E. interviews etc.

Secondly I remember an episode of UFO beening shown at about midnight
on ITV and I seen to remember that had been some complaints before it
featured a sheepdog I think with it putting it bluntly with its guts
hanging out.

Lastly any more news on the remake of UFO by our neighbours across
the water ?

I think its actually "The Sound of Silence" where the alien has just
mutilated the tramp [Colly's] dog. All you actually see is a bit of what looks like
tomato sauce on the dog's fur, but that's about it, the dog is not dead but
lying in the grass whimpering.

Yes, I'm sure there's at least a commentary on the R1 DVDs
that's not available on the R2 set. There's probably more info
on Marc's site, www.ufoseries.com.

That would be SOUND OF SILENCE I think, although I don't think
it's quite as graphic as that!

Cheers

It wasn't, it was in Sound of Silence.
