Today while reading my copy of eWeek, I was delighted to find a plug for
the UFO Series Home Page. In the "Litter box Lynx" section of Spenser F. Katt's Rumor Central was a photo of Nina Barry and two Moonbase control sphere operatives. Underneath was the link ufo.simplent.com along with the heading "Do you remember this far-out 70s ci-fi show?" The official wbsite is www.eweek.com, and several Katt columns (but not the latest) are posted there. You can eMail Spenser himself at [hidden email] with your feedback. It probably would be interesting to learn the extent of his interest in UFO. Or perhaps he merely appreciates a finely crafted website. In any event, Kudos to Marc for receiving recognition from a national trade newspaper. Jeff Kuzma |

Nice job!
I like it when the report includes a bit of what the person went through to get there and what their primary interest is in the convention instead of a large overview. I think one point you missed was maybe the fact that not only was this your first in person meeting with these UFO stars and production people but also the first time you were in the same room with the actual models and props used in the series! Which is cool because your home page and this list is one of the oldest most established UFO fan resources on the Internet! So you being at the convention is a pilgrimage of sorts??? Or am I pushing the metaphors too hard on this Friday night? : -) I just find that idea kind of appealing. Actually maybe they should have had you speak on a panel! : -) |
