UFO Theme on BC's Art School programme

The BBC are using the theme for their show which starts tonight called Art
School. Such an iconic theme, instantly recognisable - hope Gerry gave
permission.

I'm quite sure the BBC wouldn't use a piece of music without
obtaining the relevant permission, but I don't think they'd need
to get that from Gerry Anderson.

It's far too good a piece of music to be used as a trailer for this trash -
really.

Surely they wouldn't require Gerry Anderson's okay on the matter as he sold his rights to his ITC series many years ago? At least that's how I understand the situation. Also, on a cynical note, it's the BBC we're talking about, and sometimes they seem to me at least to have the attitude that they can do whatever they like and that they are answerable to no-one.

Rant over, chaps...

That was my point. They are still using it to trail this trash, and the
theme is just far too good to be used this way.

Not that I'm aware of Teresa. we get the trailers on both BBC1 and 2 and it
drives me nuts.

Hi. Is there a link or a video in the BBC site to advertise/promote this
trash show?
Thank you.
