Yippee! There is hope after all! Perhaps they learned a lesson from the Thunderbirds debacle!

I have just put three new pics of art work on my photo file (LEO and Class. They are also on the Art page on my web site - in better definition if anyone is interested.

I recall an interview with Gerry last year in which he said that he'd had acall from someone involved in the production saying that they would be in touch with him and he felt good about that. Although I grew up with UFO, Thunderbirds etc, and love them to bits, the Thunderbirds movie was pants (that's XXXL size pants!). But there is hope for UFO. Gerry updated Captain Scarlet brilliantly, Star Trek has been given a cool upgrade with the recent movie, so I'm upbeat about it. I hope the trailer runs like the opening credits with Barry Gray's theme in glorious Dolby THX thundering around the cinema:)

Not so sure about that Interceptor design though... this movie is supposed
to be 10 years in the future, not 100 years... that Interceptor looks
a bit too futuristic to me.

Has it actually been established that the (feature film) UFO universe is set
in 2020 or thereabouts? One thing that should have been learned from the
TV series is that the ten year difference wasn't enough for the necessary
changes in technology to take place. Even from 2010.

The official website states:

"Based in the near future - 2020"

I also think setting the original series (and the film) only 10 years in
the future was (and will be) a mistake. Make it at least 20... preferably
30...
