UFO pop group!

Lieve
Hi Guys,

I guess this is more or less off-topic (rather more than less :-) but
apparently there is a British pop group that's called UFO. There is even a
mailing list on the subject:
http://www.egroups.com/group/Schenker
which is how I found out.
Now (to make this message on-topic) I wonder whether one of the group's
members is a UFO fan and that's why it's named that way - of course, they
could be interested in the *real* UFOs instead....

CU

Lieve

Keith Carpenter
Admittedly, I used to listen to these guys a long time ago. I don't
recall anything they did that had a GA:UFO theme. Just hard rock.

Star Trek has fared better. Off hand, there is Allan Holdworth's
Atavacron. I'm sure there are others not including all the parody
stuff.

Actually they were formed in 1969 and named themselves after a
club
in Tottenham Court Road where Pink Floyd used to play in the
'60s.
Must dig out some of my old UFO vinyl. Haven't listened to it
for
years. They have reformed in the last couple of years and have a
new CD out.
