Hi all,

Anthony Taylor alerted me to a review of UFO on "Poop Shoot" by Robert
Burnette, writer/director of the Trek Parody FREE ENTERPRISE:

Thanks Anthony!

Thanks for the link.

Sorry folks, but the review was a *tad* too sugary. It was so sugary I had to
brush my teeth after reading it, less I get cavities. :)

I disagree with this line vigourously:

"Heavily influenced by 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY, the expansive sets and hardware
illustrate a massive effort to create a viable and believable future while
still maintaining a definitive "science fiction" feel."

Where was it influenced by 2001? Where are the expansive sets?

Don't mean to be negative, but the show never struck me that deeply. My loss,
I know. :)

Anthony

Marc,
Thanks for letting us know about this review. I thoroughly enjoyed it!
What a funny man! And very knowledgeable about sci-fi. I've been wanting
to see "Free Enterprise", but am leery of modern "comedy" movies. But after
reading his review, I simply must see the movie! Thanks again.
Yours,
Denise

Denise-
If you are a fan and participate in "fandom" (which I know you do), you
will appreciate this film. You may not think its as funny as I do since
the humor is mostly male-centric, but you will definitely recognize
people, places and things throughout Free Enterprise.

Anthony,
How do you define male-centric? Now you've got me worried.

Denise-
The movie is about a group of male friends who are fans, and centers on
two in particular. It isn't vulgar; don't worry, and the Shatner
hilarity factor alone makes it a must see.

Okay, this is off topic, I know, but yes, Denise - if you like Shatner,
this is hilarious - LOL!
