UFO videos?

Anthony Appleyard
I live in England. I am tidying out at home. I have:

UFO videos, in red covers, whole series 0 to 11.
UFO videos (Polygram), in blue/green covers, 1 to 11.
As I also have the series on DVD, what sort of amount are these videos worth now?
Please also email any answer to me.

Is it really possible to give an answer to questions like these?

These things are worth what someone will pay for them. I very much doubt
there'd be a great deal of interest in the VHS Videos, in this age of DVD
and Blu-Ray...but you never know. I wouldn't have thought they'd fetch much.

As for the DVDs, try looking at ebay to see what they're selling at there; I
imagine the Carlton DVDs are not 'in print' anymore and therefore might well
be worth something to someone looking for a set. The Australian set is still
available of course, but would probably be fairly expensive. Your DVD set
might be more appealing in terms of price.

Do a bit of your own research and you might come up with some idea of what
these things are 'worth'.

Unfortunately probably nothing. I haven't been able to give away several boxed sets of videos (including Jack Bauers24) It's just a shame that they may get consigned to the dustbin. I don't even know if you can but video players now! Put them in storage Anthony, one day ...... you never know!

I sold a few of the old 'red cover' VHS videos on eBay just before the
DVDs were released and got a few pounds for each of them. Actually I
seem to remember that someone paid £10 + postage to Australia for one
of them.

I had a couple of them left, and one of the earlier VHS releases (pale
blue cover) when I moved house a couple of months ago, and I just put
them in the bin. I didn't think they'd fetch anything at all.

If anyone is thinking of throwing away their old UK UFO VHS tapes
(Polygram or Digital Entertainment), I'd be interested in getting
the paper slip covers, and will pay postage to the USA.

Thanks!
