UK UFO DVDs and Region Codes, Commentaries

Paul Carroll
Now that the UFO DVDs appear to be getting out into Public, can anyone
report on whether the disks are Region 2, or are they Region 0?

Likewise, do the extras seem that worth-while? As near as I can tell,
the A&E release in the US might not have any, so that will have to be
weighed.

Maybe the answer for US viewers is to just get the A&E disks and find
some way to get the audio commentaries for the couple of episodes that
have it. I could probably live without the rest of the extras, from
the sounds of it.

Any information would be useful. Thanks.

Thanks, Rob, for letting us know about the Region encoding.
While I have a way of tricking my computer's CD-ROM into playing
Region 2 disks, I figure I'd prefer to do that changing as little
as possible. While I think I'll wait for the A&E US releases before
deciding on what to do, I can only hope they get their act together
to try and match the UK releases. If they can't, well, I guess I can
always place my order with Amazon UK.
